v3.3.0 — Latest Runs on Atlassian Atlassian Forge Confluence Cloud

Installation

Installing takes about a minute and needs a Confluence Cloud site admin, since apps are installed site-wide.

  1. Open Page Order for Confluence on the Atlassian Marketplace, or search for it from Apps → Explore more apps inside Confluence.
  2. Click Try it free and choose your Confluence Cloud site.
  3. Accept the permissions it asks for: move pages, rename a page whose title is already used in the space it is moving to, read the page tree’s order, read pages, folders and spaces, and search. Nothing else is requested, not even app storage — see Permissions required for what each one does.
  4. Open it from Organize Child Pages in any page’s ••• menu, from Page Order in a space’s sidebar, or from Page Order for Confluence under Apps.

There is nothing to set up after that. The app has no settings screen: what each person can do with it is decided by the Confluence permissions they already have — see the Admin guide.

Licensing and the free tier

Free for teams of 10 or fewer. Above that, paid tiers are billed through the Atlassian Marketplace on your existing Atlassian invoice — there is no separate DataPingo account to create and no card to enter with us.

Page Order is billed per user, on graduated tiers. The free tier covers sites with 10 users or fewer; from 11 users, every user is billed. The pricing calculator on the product page estimates the cost for your user count.

If the site’s subscription is not active, the app says so as soon as it opens, wherever it is opened from: Page Order needs an active subscription on this site. Ask your Confluence admin to start a trial or subscribe from Manage apps. Pages you have already saved stay exactly where they are.

Uninstalling

Uninstall from Apps → Manage apps. There is nothing to clean up: the app stores nothing, so no data is left behind in Confluence or anywhere else. Pages stay where your last save put them, in Confluence’s own page tree order.

The only thing the app ever keeps is a setting in each person’s browser for whether the page tree is shown. It lives in that browser, not in Confluence.
